My name is Theresa Drescher. My husband and I - aided by the "contributions" of our three rescued cats, Fiddle Faddle, Stubby Jones and Duncan - started Pet Posse Presents to sell pet gift baskets. All the gift baskets have a touch of whimsy and humor just like our cats. Pets are at the center of our life, and we will do whatever is in our power to keep them healthy and happy. We don't include anything in our collections that we would not give to our own pets. We stand behind the integrity and quality of Pet Posse's products. The inspiration for Pet Posse Presents came from personal experience and practical necessity: Some of our rescued cats arrived on our doorstep with allergies and weight issues. My husband and I have always rescued cats that are older, and a few have had problems. Teachy Man was severely overweight, and it took us about a year to get him down to a manageable size. Fiddle Faddle, who lives with us now, has terrible food allergies.Tackling these two issues was a primary concern when choosing treats for our dog and cat gift baskets. And offering toys that get pets up and moving was also important. More than 50 percent of dogs and cats are overweight in America, and more than 10 percent have food allergies. Pet Posse gift baskets feature American-made, chemical-free snacks and treats that are either organic or natural. Some are wheat-free, corn-free, gluten-free or low-calorie; others have no added salt and sugar, no dairy or soy, or no fat. The baskets - reusable galvanized buckets or tote bags - also included engaging toys.  Pet Posse Presents contributes a portion of all sales to grass-roots animal-rescue organizations that take care of animals big and small.
